About Me

I am a materials-led product designer fascinated by how objects shape behaviour and experience. My work explores how material choices and making processes influence interaction, turning everyday routines into meaningful and satisfying rituals.

I am a graduating student in product design from the Edinburgh College of Art, where I fell deep into my passion: understanding and improving the interactions between people, objects, and their environment. I explore why these interactions occur, and I love creating work that brings together innovative technologies and traditional craft.

With roots in both Persian and German cultures and having grown up Scotland, I bring a rich combination of knowledge in crossing cultures and their customs, always curious to learn more.

Approach

My design philosophy priorotises longevity, repair, and emotional durability. I want to create products that people keep, care for, and genuinely value over time. The most sustainable objects are those that people want to keep around.

This is actualised with an immersive approach to research, experimentation, prototyping and designing, placing myself directly in relevant situations to maximise experiential learning and develop the most responsive solutions.
